Sunshine is plentiful, free, and clean

The average American home emits 16,000 pounds of CO2 annually. If 5% of American homeowners go solar, it would be the equivalent of

  • Taking 7,700,000 cars off the road (the average car emits 11,640 pounds of CO2 annually).
  • Removing 89,600,000 pounds of CO2 from the environment.
  • Planting 6,900,000 trees.

In a single day, the amount of sunlight hitting the United States is more than 2,500 times the entire country’s daily energy usage.

Greenhouse gasses

Carbon dioxide (CO2) is a greenhouse gas that keeps the temperature of our planet stable. In a natural cycle, CO2 is taken up by trees and plants which produce oxygen as a byproduct. This process is what makes our planet habitable. Since the 20th century we have been producing more carbon dioxide than the planet can handle, and it’s trapping the greenhouse gasses in our atmosphere. In other words, global warming.

The difference in only a few degrees in annual average temperatures has devastating consequences on our planet, and many nations are concerned about the effects of excessive carbon dioxide. Drought, pollution, and health problems to humans and animals are just a few of the many problems caused by global warming and CO2 pollution. Learn more from the NRDC.

Millions of homeowners across the nation are adding solar for less than the cost of paying the utility company. Our government is so concerned about our dependency on fossil fuels and the devastating affects of CO2 pollution that they are paying homeowners an average of $10,000 each to go solar. These savings are helping to make solar more affordable than paying for power generated by burning fossil fuels. Read more about the solar tax rebates.

This is your time to make the planet cleaner AND save money! Our goal at Nuera is to get homeowners across the United States into a solar system with no money down and a monthly solar loan that’s LESS than what you would pay for electricity to your utility company. Most of our clients are on pace to save tens of thousands of dollars on this clean and renewable energy, AND they have the satisfaction of making our world a better place to live.
